I have been harassed for many years for payment for a misleading sale of which I had cancelled the debits due to non-conformance with a query I had logged for my course to be changed by IQ Academy. I have been calling in continuously since 2009 only to find that my query has still not been resolved. Today, I received a call from an agent name Noxolo who asked me for payment of a cancellation charge of R2900 and some change, where I asked what it was for, she said it was cancellation of the contract. I then asked for my call recording (as I've been doing for the last 5 years), where the agent responded, "we don't have your recording because this is an old account", of which I further asked, "so why are you asking for money from me? " and she said its to cancel the contract. I asked her, "how can I pay to cancel something that doesn't exist? "
Noxolo blatently told me that the account was still active. Im even more cos the IQ academy course that I was mislead about, appears as a student loan on my credit report. When I asked WHY IS COMING UP AS A STUDENT LOAN!!! THIS SAYS "I CANT ANSWER THAT QUESTION BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW". In the meantime, im on ITC and its cant be fixed!
