I enquired about a call centre management course on the IQ academy website, the following day a consultant called me and gave me the quotation over the phone. I agreed to enrol for the course and realised the following day that the course was going to be 24 months but i wanted something for 6 months. i then called the IQ academy call centre to cancel the contract (CPA allows customers to cancel a 24 months contract within 20 days). I was promised the issue will be escalated to the cancellations department, to my surprised money was deducted from my account that monthend and the following month again but they did not deliver study material. I called the call centre on the third month to query this and was told the material was not delivered because i requested a cancellation. These people were deliberatetly debiting my money fully knowing that i requested a cancellation, then they told me i will have to pay R900 cancellation fee. Ttrue to their thieving habits, they deducted R100 on the third month to add to the R800 they deducted the previous two months.
