IQ Academy
Tricked into signing up

Good day

in 2010 march i received a phone call from an IQ Academy call centre agent recruiting me to take one of their courses, at the time i told the agent that i had just completed a diploma, but she still insisted that their course was a higher education level even for people with degree`s and Diploma's, since i was interested in Marketing Management, she told me that i would only pay R350 deducted from my bank account for 2 years, and she also informed me that the call is recorded, she told me that if i wanted to cancel i would do so within 7 days of getting my books, when i received the books, a friend of mine informed me that IQ Academy is an education institution for people with standard 5 (no Matric) the course does not serve as a Tertiary Institution course, when i phoned in to cancel a very rude lady answered and told me that it was too late for me to cancel, why did i take the course if i did not want it and when i told her that i would not pay for it she told me that if i don't pay my name would be blacklisted, the Agent to me and provided false information regarding the course and IQ academy shows on my bearu records, false information was provided to me.
