I registered with Unisa Cape Town to do a post graduate diploma in Accounting Science on 19/01/2013. I was helped by a student advisor who did not inform me at the time of registration that I would have to write tests for each of the modules. I was expecting to submit assignments to them. I paid the minimum amount of R 7 600 on 19/01/2013. Once I received the study material, I realised all the tests were on the same day and it is alot of work to try do 5 modules and be tested on them. I then sent Unisa a email on 25/01/2013 to cancel my entire registration for these modules. When I did not receive a response to my email, I called them, and they advised that I would lose the minimum payment. R 7 600 is a lot of money to lose and I can not afford to waste that money.
