I applied for Btech in Chemical Engineering at tut this year for the following year and since I started applying at Tut from 2012, I have never got a valid answer from them. All I received was letters saying the application for admission to this particular course will be evaluated as a group. After the assessment, I will be informed by letter as to whether or not my application was successful. This happened for three times until I decided to call them and find out what is happening and they told me they could not see my application, where did I apply. Funny, they did not see my application yet I was receiving letters from them for every semester I applied. The next thing, they got my application form and said they will come back to me. I waited for a week of the 08 November this year then the following week (15 November 2013) I received a letter again from them saying my application has been unsuccessful and when I asked why, because I know I qualify, they said to me they consider TUT students first since I am from VUT and even I can apply early or next year I will still not be accepted by the University because it is their policy.
