FAILURE TO PROVIDE SERVICE

The University of Limpopo's department of Public Administration has failed to live up to my expectations. I registered for a Master's degree in Administration in 2009 and as part of the programme, my work was supposed to be supervised by the University lecturer appointed for that. I have been submitting the work required of me but unfortunately the lecturer appointed for that did not supervise/assess my work as a result I could not finish my degree only because my work was not marked by the relevant person. The reason behind my failure was not of my own doing but that of the University staff.

The University has since submitted my name to its debt collectors and my argument is that: why am I compelled to pay for a service not rendered. I lodged the complaint with the senior management of the department but they have sinced made empty promises to rectify the issue. I am also haunted by their debt collectors who threaten me with blackilisting. The least I expected from them is to at least cancel the debt or provide a meeting whereby we can try to resolve this matter amicably.
