I registered at Damelin for a short course and paid a deposit of R3350, they advised me that the course might not happen if there's not enough people, but still took my deposit. When I went there last week they advised that the course is not commencing but now it will take 6 weeks to be refunded, which they never advised me of prior to paying the deposit.
I escalated this to their head office in Durban and am dealing with the accounts department, Shantal Maharaj and her manager Jessie who are absolutely unhelpful, had they advised me of this before paying, this wouldn't have happened and now I can't register at another institution because I have to wait for my money.
I am not prepared to wait that long as I have to register somewhere else by end of this week otherwise I have to wait for next year which is very unfair, it's not my fault that the course is not commencing.
I am still waiting on Jessie, the manager, to get back to me, but thus far had absolutely no luck with them..their service cannot get any worse!
