I applied to register at Unisa on 28 November 2012 and have paid R5880 for the first semester on the same day.
I then received communication on 7 January 2013 after enquiring that I needed to submit documents and pay R400 admission fee.
On 9 January 2013, I physically went to Unisa standing in a que for more than 2 hours, submitted the original documents they needed and afterwards pay the R400 admission fee as well as a fee for library access. I am a mother of two and it was very difficult coping with my two young children to get registered.
My status at this date was temporary registered - await documentation/payment. However both these requirements have been met.
On the 14th of January my status have still not moved and I phoned and emailed Unisa. They said that I needed to submit my documents again! I reluctantly went to Unisa on the 22nd of January and submitted all the documents again (with my two kids) and hoped that I will be registered. They said I should go online and everything should be fine. My status was still not changed!
I now received an email that registrations will close on the 25th and Im still in the dark about my status.
