I registered for a PGCE with UNISA for this year. I opted for only about half the modules this year. When I received the documents stating that I have been registered, I was told that I could not register for one specific subject unless I provided proof that I met the admission requirements. I had to fax this proof (which UNISA already had in the form of my previous study results from the University of Pretoria, originally included during my application) along with a copy of their email to them before 31 January 2013. I did this more than a week before 31 January.

When I received my learning material in the post, I saw that I was obviously still not registered for the module in question. Since then, I have attempted to call UNISA numerous times, with all lines being engaged, and my emails to them have also remained unanswered for weeks. Now in February I received a copy of the same letter regarding the admission requirement issue, well after I had already sent them the necessary documents. Apparently, all registrations are now closed, but I am very disappointed that I am being penalised for UNISA's lack of feedback on this matter. I would very much like this issue to be resolved.
