August 2012 Me Hatting had order an Math literacy set from the company. She received the first order in September 2012 and in Feb 2013 the last copies where send to her. In April 2013 Me Hattingh took the product to her child's math teacher that indicated that the product was focused on higher math education and not maths literacy. Me Hattingh did not know the difference and neither her daughter, her daughter just kept telling her she did not understand the content.
Me Hatting had phone the company and was initially told that they had made a mistake and would refund her but that she had to pay a admin fee of R4800 for the mistake that company had made.
When she had indicated that she is not prepared to pay the admin fee she was informed that she had made the mistake and they would not refund her.
Me Hatiingh works for a NPO where I am a social worker that is assisting the employee's that work in our job creation project.
