Since March I have been going to the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office at-least every week to find out about my acceptance letter to the Postgraduate Merit Award (PMA) that I was awarded in January. Every time I go in to find out if the letter is ready I am told that it is not ready and that I should come back after a couple of days. The last time I went in was on Wednesday the 8th of May where I was told to write my email address and student number as the letter was going to be emailed to me. I have sent emails as well, one was to Busisiwe Sithole (6 March 2013) asking about my acceptance letter of which she replied by saying that she was referring me to the consultants in the office. Another email was sent (7 May 2013) to one of the consultants also asking for the acceptance letter to be emailed and done manually if possible. The acceptance letter is apparently due on the 17th of May. The fees where due to be paid in March and have not been paid as a result of the unsigned letter. The fees office are forcing my father to pay the fees by signing an acceptance of debt form. Last year a similar problem was experienced.
