I have recently had a renovation done to my house by a man called Bradley Flynn in Worcester, Western Cape. I had a wooden structure attached to my property which I wanted to remove & redo with Nutec board as well as the interiors ceiling, floors & walls to be done in the wooden structure as well as the existing house.
I was promised an excellent finish within a period of 5-6 weeks. Well, 2 months later, I was appalled at the finished product. Unfortunately, I was stupid enough to pay him all he's money since he kept on telling me that he needed the outstanding money to purchase more materials.
I had to hire another contractor to redo Mr Flynns work. Also, I only discovered afterward that he was not a qualified builder, which he told me that he was.
A word of advise to other people out there, be careful of this chap. Ask to see of he's work before you hire him.
I have done some reserch & discovered that this guy has gotten away with this type of thing for a while now.
Make sure who you hire & what they are capable of doing, whether they have papers to prove their qualifications.
