I phoned Nick requesting a quote for a tar driveway. He came out on the 23 January 2013. The total of the quote was R15, 000-00. I informed him that I am happy and by when can they start and how long will this job take. He told me they will start on the 24th of January and that it will be a two day job. He then told we that he will lay some edge around the garden and that this will be free seeing that I'm happy with the quote.
They did start on the 24th, with the removal of the grass and on the 25th they did the sealing of the cement with a primer. I paid him R10, 850-00 as a deposit on the same day. That was that. I did phone him and sms-ed him to find out what's going on and he gave me a lot of stories the last one being that he under quoted. I just want my money back so that I can get a real professional for the job. I did phone around to find out what the value of the work done will be and it will not be more then R3000. Way less then the R7800 he claims to be.
