I BOUGHT A TELEFUNKEN GAS COOKER/ELECTRIC STOVE FROM BUILDERS WAREHOUSE LAST YEAR IN ANTICIPATION OF OUR KITCHEN RENOVATION. SO LAST WEEK WE OPENED THE STOVE FOR THE FIRST TIME AS WE WERE PREPARING FOR THE GAS INSTALLATION.

UNFORTUNATELY FOR ME THE STOVE IS SO BADLY DAMAGED I COULDN'T HAVE IT INSTALLED!

THE TOP GLASS COVER DOESN'T LINE UP, THE OVEN IS DENTED AND THE OVEN DOOR HANDLE WAS BROKEN OFF AND PLACED IN THE OVEN! SHOCKING TO THINK THAT THEY KNOW ABOUT THE DEFECT, BUT STILL DESPATCH THE GOODS IN THAT STATE.

SO ON THE 12TH OF THIS MONTH I EMAILED BUILDERS WAREHOUSE ASKING WHO I SHOULD TAKE THIS ISSUE UP WITH - MY EMAIL WAS DELIVERED AND READ, TO DATE I HAVEN'T HEARD A WORD OUT OF THEM.
IN THE PAST 4 MONTHS I HAVE SPENT IN EXCESS OF R150, 000.00 AT BUILDERS WAREHOUSE ON A HOME RENOVATION! I HAVE HAD TO WAIT PATIENTLY FOR STOCK TO ARRIVE ETC AND NOW THEY DON'T EVEN HAVE THE COURTESY TO RESPONSE TO MY QUERY REGARDING MY DAMAGED STOVE.

ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL AND I GUESS THE BALANCE OF MY RENOVATIONS WILL BE DONE THROUGH AN ALTERNATIVE SUPPLIER.
