Bought a new house from this construction company called Chama Properties, what was supposed to be a joyful thing became a nightmare to me, still is a nightmare...
1. They don't deliver in time, they will corn you in to signing the happy letter, before you know it the bank deducts the bond money, how because there's supposed to be an inspector checking every progress??
2. Upon our agreement was I buy my own stove he pays me the money for the stove, until today, he keeps on making promises. he left a bill of water consumption that he was supposed to be pay of R4000 under my name
3. The house didn't have electricity, it doesn't have water and electricity meters.
4. Trust me I tried NHBRC but I could not get any help, was told that I have signed that I'm happy and the bank has already paid him the money.
5. NHBRC never helped with anything, I got in that house as it was..
Chama properties NHBRC No 36875 is a do not buy from them!! found out that I'm not the only one though, many of us who bought houses through them are regretting, we all share the same story.
