A quote was accepted to install a new gate motor (R4495.00). Firstly the guys only pitch up after 17:00 iso 15:00. They need to work in the dark with no lights or torches. They need to install a new cable from the power box to the motor, but did not have long enough cable. So, they join it with a piece of the old cable with isolation tape. Due to heavy rains, the water was soaked up at the joint and causes a short that made a short and burned out the main power switch. I had no power for a day and had to contact emergency electricians to come and fix the problem (R2678.00). Personally I think that the mentioned company is responsible for the second bill.
