Defective installation and appalling service

The garage door installed by Duro has been problematic since the outset. When it was originally installed it did not fit properly and the panels were replaced. The replacement panels were incorrectly installed and scraped against the soffit of the garage opening. Not surprisingly rust subsequently appeared on the door panels.

During the installation Mr M. Curtis, the Branch Manger at the time, stated in writing that "THIS IS A POOR INSTALLATION AND I REQUIRE THAT THE INSTALLER BE DISCIPLINED". Once the rust became obvious I communicated with Duro on numerous occasions. This eventually resulted in Nicole Wuest, another Branch manager who also left the company, sending Greg Cooper to inspect the rust. Mr Cooper stated during the inspection that "this should never have happened".

Unfortunately I have been very ill and therefore unable to follow up on this matter until now. My last communication with Duro was an email to Mr David Garrett on 8 February 2013, which he still has not answered!

Unfortunately Duro's standard of workmanship was terrible and they do not offer any after sales service.
