I contracted with Surburban Roofing to attend to some waterproofing at my home. Kumaran was the contact person... he came out to site advised that he knew what was to be done and promised to supervise the project...
When the project was complete I suspected that the work was not done properly and hired a QS to check the work... Kumaran met with the QS on site and CONFIRMED that that the job was incomplete and also confirmed that the work done was not properly done or at all in respect of one area... what happened to the supervision???
I also was being pushed for payment when clearly the work was incomplete...
It is fortunate for me that I didn't pay the final amount as I may never seen them again..
Immediately after meeting Kumaran I emailed the company... one Renuka... on the 13th October 2013... Much to my surprise not even an acknowledgement of my email...
Who is going to pay for the services of the QS I hired and when is my job going to be completed... a deafening silence from the company...
I am not sure if shoddy work is what a company like this offers but I AM VERY DISAPPOINTED that this may be the best we have in DURBAN...
Tread very carefully indeed...
