1/08/13 - shopped around for carpets, decided to order from Builders warehouse.
2/08/13 - due to come and quote in morning, but phone and say they have to come in afternoon as running late
After repeated phone calls (from me) told traffic was too bad arrangement made to come on 6/08/13. A waste of my entire day.
6/08/13 Abdu came and was very nice and did the quote and emailed it all to me the next morning.
7/08/13 I paid full amount and waited.
12/08/13 I had received no info and so I phoned and was informed carpet had to come from Durban (this is the first time I was told this) and so they would only come on 15th or 16th.
14/08/13 I phoned again to finalise a time (I am not sure why they don't follow up with me).
At 9 on 16/08/13 (expecting them at 930) phone call to say it's raining and they can't deliver the carpet. I am not sure why. After much phoning on my part they finally confirm that they can come and deliver the carpet.
1230 on 16/08/13 I was told that the fitter is at my house (obviously he is not). Another morning taken off work.
Romeo Kayser was very helpful and I have maintained some faith in Builders warehouse, but I would never buy carpets from them again.
