I decided2go with Kelbricks roof Trusses because they were the cheapest (although they still cost over R45K), they were SABS approved (apparently) n i was promised everything would be taken care of (that is the entire roof completed). Not knowing much about roofs at the time, this sounded like a pain free exercise. long story short, i was quoted for 2120 roof tiles n only 2040 tiles were delivered, with 18 tiles noted as broken on the invoice, when I inquired about these 80 tiles, I was told the extra was for breakages even though it was already noted on the invoice, n that they wouldnt pay for breakages as apposed2me paying4broken tiles, then I was told that it was because I wasn't charged for the extra wood used in the trusses (even though they only measure after excepting payment n only quote on house plans), basically bull5h1t excuses!!! Then John (manager) promised i would get a refund. now a month later no refund n when i call i get told by Dorie that they dont want2refund me because of the number of times they had2come out2measure, even though i was told by John that they couldnt get the pitch right.. absolutely disgusting2hear after .. had other issues as well..
