No ussd on windows phone 7.8

I bought a nokia lumia mobile to replace two of my existing phones. One being an iPhone, and have had a hard time using the phone alone without relying on another for USSD to use network and banking services. So basically I have to still rely on another phone should I need to do any online banking or buy data bundles! This issue has been left for a long time now and we need a fix to it. How can we support your OS when it doesn't do the most simplest of tasks which a R100 phone can do. Please sort this issue asap before im forced to just upgrade to another iPhone.
