Return Microsoft Office 2021 software

On 6 April 2022 I purchased Microsoft Office home & student 2021 from computer mania Blueroute Western Cape . I wasn't told that I can't return it. Afterwards I realized that my laptop already have microsoft office on. I decided to return it. The package had not been opened and I had the receipt. I was told software cannot be returned and also refused a voucher or to buy something else.
