I purchased a Dry Case product that supports your cell phone in water sports from Computer Universe in October 2013. I used the product for the first time and it worked amazing. The second time I used it, it tore and broke, resulting in water damaging my R6000 cell phone. Clearly on Computer Universe's packaging it states that the Dry Case is used for extreme water sports and the material is tear resistant.
I sent the complaint to Tony Leca the Ceo of Computer Universe and stated my case. However my Cell phone of R6000 is not fixable and they are not willing to replace. But taking in consideration that on the packaging of the product it states water proof and tear resistant it. I even considered to get a second hand phone for R2500 where Computer Universe could contribute 50% towards the payment. Still only receiving an email back from Tony stating that he will pay me the small about of R400 towards another phone for me.
I feel that this false advertising must be noted and published.
