I wanted to buy a new computer for gaming purposes. I spoke to a guy which i think is the store manager. I asked him him for a computer that can play new games and that doesn't cost too much. He showed me a special that they had. He also said if i put in extra memory and a 3d card it will be able to play anything including the new gta5. I also asked him if i can continue to put in extra memory after time as that is why i wanted a computer and not a laptop, and he said yes. In total i paid more than R8000. I only started using the computer a few weeks later. It worked but did not perform well as the games would crash. i took it to a computer workshop and ask them to put in more memory as i think it is the problem. They phoned me back and said matrix gave me a low performing computer, the worst version of windows and that i cannot expand the memory. So i did not get what i wanted. Now i want to know will i be able to return it for a refund or get a replacement of what i wanted or must i go to the consumer court as it is 3 months later?
