I've tried to download a song over the weekend on Waptricks - where I usually do. A link came up of some application that had to be downloaded. NOWHERE did it say anything about a subscription or nothing. After I downloaded a song I received a sms saying that I have to either confirm or deny my subscription. I've replied "no" as indicated & received a "welcome to ..." sms. So please tell me, why would you give the people the option to say no, if you are going to subscribe then anyways? After that I send a sms to the Opt-out number saying Stopbb & another sms was received stating I was now unsubscribed. After reading all the complaints on HelloPeter - I send them an email saying that they must please send me a confirmation email stating that no money will be deducted from my account and I was unsubscribed - but still hasn't received anything. I'm on a contract phone so can't check if the R3/day is being deducted. And I'm sure as not going to pay for something I didn't sign up to. Whats the point of having a "helpdesk" contact if nobody is "helping" you?
