Whats with a 5 days reporting leadtime?

Ok, so I like the site, and sure some users just slate anyone as much as possible, however for those who use the site sensibly how about reducing the 5 days time period. Real life example, complained to Vodacom who offer next day delivery, got a call back (the next day), now 4 days later, and yet I cannot post another message... makes no sense ..
