I have used this service a few times, usually for complaints against the big corporates who tend to pass one off to someone else in the company, or to another company altogether.
My experience is that the people who respond to the HelloPeter.com complaints are senior enough and have enough powers to resolve the issue. I have never logged an issue on HelloPeter.com that has not been resolved very quickly.
Sometimes just mentioning the words HelloPeter.com is enough to see a change in attitude of the consultant in question.
