I returned 2 x faulty Asus modems (one being the back-up modem) for inspection and repair 10 days ago
Despite many follow-up calls to Asus and to the sales agent, it seems nothing has been done to date. Have been told for the last 3 days by both the ASUS repair centre and Agents that the units are being replaced under warranty, but thus far the replacements are not forth-coming. Apart from lip service it seems nobody is capable of or interested in actually replacing the units.
As this is the 2nd time I have experienced ASUS' shocking service I would not recommend ASUS products to anybody.
