As a retailer it is appalling to experience the level of service from our suppliers, in this instance ASUS South Africa.
For YEARS we (PCMOBILE) have been selling and promoting ASUS components, notebooks as our NUMBER ONE choice, due to the fact that they build good solid machines, and offer quick returns on warranties, globally!
However, the great service we have experienced in the past is simply no more!
After returning a warranty repair notebook, and being in contact now for days on end (phoning several times a day to keep up to date) with ASUS, specifically with Laurence, (who is the branch manager or something), and other ASUS staff, I've been promised results, been promised that the unit has been collected, has been repaired, has been shipped back to us, ONLY to find out that it has not been shipped, so many promises has been made, but at every turn we only find out that we are being to!
I will officially drop the ASUS brand from our shop, including all the branding! Systematically we will replace our ASUS servers, our staff notebooks, everything ASUS must GO!
Judging from the feed back on Hello Peter, it would seem that this article will fall on deaf ears.
