I bought a Tenda Wireless Lan USB dongle from PC Zone, the very next day I returned it due to the fact that my PC could not recognize the hardware inserted and the driver CD could not establish that it was plugged in so it would not continue the driver installation. Anyway I returned the dongle with this information and I was told to try a brand new one. The same thing happened. The very next day (the second time) I returned it and requested my money back which they refused to give me as they said, "It works on our PC so there must be something wrong with yours." I felt insulted but I asked if I may bring my PC in so they can find out why it would not work, I was told that I could not do that as it works perfectly on their PC and there is nothing they can do about it. I proceeded to tell them that this kind of service is unacceptable as it is a product I have bought from them and they should help me, after which the man I spoke to got angry and started telling me that its tough and I must take credit in the shop or just leave with my useless product.
The No Cash Refunds clause is only on the slip after you have paid and in small print on four posters on the wall. Disgusting ethics!
