I bought 2 HP Compact Notebooks together with MTN data packages. After a couple of weeks the one battery just failed to work. Interchanging the batteries and having it tested, it was the battery that failed after 2 -3 weeks.
I was referred to HP agents in Midrand - I offered to bring the laptop so they they can test and replace the battery.
This is refused - I was told to book the laptop, which has no problem, in for a period of time. I need the laptop so why book it in? Take backups and sit unable to work because they cannot just replace a battery under guarantee?
Strange for a company who I have always supported but totally unacceptable
