I took my Grand Voyager in because everytime I would step on the brake it would fade away. They did a service on my car that cost about R3000 and then gave me a quote of R18 000 to fix the brakes and to check an oil leak underneath the car by the front wheels. They advised that the drums and brakes were completely finished even though my car never did the scratchy sound when I would brake. I took my car to the Menlyn branch and they also gave me a quote of R12000. Jo-Ann phoned me and said the price is now R14000. Later, she phoned again and said the part required will push the price up to over R16 000. I paid for the service and all the wheels etc were worked and still the problem persists. I asked for the all the parts that they replaced. The car still battles to start and the brakes are still giving the same problem. I took the car back and now I received another quote for R15 000 to fix the brakes? They kept my car for nearly 2 - 3 weeks when they did the earlier repairs.
