On the 28th January 2013 i collected a hired car at Windhoek airport to be return on the 30th January 2013. I returned a car and because of rushing to check in for my flight, i forgot my car keys in the hired car.
31st January at about 11:00-12:00, a gentlemen from Triffty and Dollar calls me and notifies that i forgot the keys. He said there were cars that were going to be transferred to Johannesburg and they keys will be shipped with the cars. I waited and waited and no keys or call regarding the matter.
I then started calling Triffty and Dollar Namibia and South Africa and for many days i was transferred to many different offices which costed me a lot of money. I got hold of few managers and promised to look into my issue and the delivery was not as good as i was expecting.
I had notified the insurance about the keys and when i received the call from Triffty, i cancelled with insurance since the keys were coming back to me. As a customer, i still don't understand how missing belongings are managed at Triffty and Dollar. Till today i'm still waiting and i was told to go make another key while i'm waiting - How can i go make another key and still waiting for my key from them?
