I went to Caltex in Kibler Park to fill up. When I arrived a taxi arrived at the same time. I entered on one side and parked next to a vacant pump. The taxi enered on the other side but there was no available pump, so the driver had to drive past everybody already filling up. The pump attendent totally ignored me and indicated to the taxi driver that he should park at a vacant pump next to me, on the opposite end to where the taxi entered. The attendent continued to ignore me and proceeded to assist the taxi driver. I complained to the manager after calling him out of his office. It was clear that he had no authority over the staff when he spoke to the attendent, so I simply left and went to another service station nearby.
There are so many service stations everywhere that I will simply not tolerate any type of poor service. Although I live in the area, I drive around a lot during the week and can select from dozens of service stations of all brands. If you cannot provide service you should not be in business. The manager should be on the forecourt managing during rush hour and not hiding in his office.
