We purchased a GWM steed from their umhlanga branch in February 2012. They have since them been moved to Umhlali because their after service customer care is so bad. They have a sales rep, by the name of Dinesh, who never returned our phone calls even though we left numerous messages.
Since purchasing the steed, not one person from GWM has bothered to contact us to ask if we are happy with the vehicle and service.
We missed the rust check by 2 months as we were away on holiday. Now SA warranties are refusing to cover the quotes we have recieved for the rust.
The vehicle is just over a year old and is riddled with rust. We have got an independant quote, and the person was shocked at the amount of rust on the vehicle. This is now going to cost us R4000 out of our own pocket to fix.
