Rust problems after 4 years. Bad car design

I bought my Fiat Strada just over 4 years ago and have 3 year warranty on the car parts and a 5 year rust warranty. I had a 3 year service plan and took my car there for services religiously for the first 3 years. The fourth year I did not take my car to the dealership because the service was too costly. Recently I noticed water was somehow getting into my car as the carpets were wet. I thought maybe it was the seal by the windows or door. I tried many attempts to stop it but it just kept getting worse. Finally I took out the plastic bin lining. There I found 3 huge rust holes near the front of the bin. This Strada has such a terrible design! Firstly, the car tilts forward so that any water that goes in sits at the front of the bin. Secondly, there are no draining points there! Where is the water meant to go? It sits there and causes rust. Even though I have a 5 year rust warranty, Fiat will not cover it because I did not take my car to the dealership for its last service. What does rust have to do with car service?? The dealership even told me it is not feasible for them to remove the bin during services to check for rust. I am not going to let this issue go until it is sorted out
