I purchased a new Mazda 2 1.5 Individual for my daughter in 2011.
Within a few days there was a feeling of looseness and a knocking sound / vibration from the steering when turning. I am concerned that it is dangerous, as steering is such a critical component.
In the period since then, the car has been back to the dealership (Kempsters Umhlanga) a total of five times for the problem.
Various things have been done to attempt to rectify the problem, but it still exists.
She is taking it in to Kempsters Umgeni Road Durban branch tomorrow for another attempt at getting this fixed.
I feel we are now at the time when Mazda must admit they cannot fix the problem, and replace the vehicle, if it cannot be sorted out on this next service visit.
