Less than a month after buying a brand new Hyundai i20 (in Bloemfontein) I've noticed rust develop in the rear window frame and reported it (taking in the vehicle to be inspected at the Umhlanga branch).
I was notified that during the week of February 11th I would receive a call, which I did, but just to notify me that some kind of audit is active at the Umhlanga branch and that I will be contacted again. I am still waiting for follow-up now on the 11th of March.
It was also made clear that there is no courtesy vehicle once I book in my vehicle. I guess I have to walk back to Ballito?
I can't see how a company can slip up so badly in terms of after-sales service, and that on a brand new vehicle. Fair enough, if they don't have a courtesy vehicle, at least have some plan for a client in place. The assumption that a client has other means of transportation is one that a business can't make!
