I purchased a brand new Toyota fortuner in 2011 took my vehicle in for a service 13.08.2013
service was done I also notified them of a sound coming out of the gearbox
they advised they will have to strip the gearbox and check for the problem which could take up to 1 week
the fortuner is my only vehicle which I utilise for business purposes as im self employed
they could not get me a courtesy car in the mean time while my van is been checked up by them
a brand new vehicle doing on 60 000 kms and gearbox problem whose fault is this
Toyota needs to compensate their customers in cases like the above
how am I going to carry out my work while the vehicle is with them
we purchase brand new vehicles to avoid downtime / breakdowns and this is what we get now
as a Toyota customer who paid for a vehicle and motor plan surely Toyota can compensate with a vehicle - im not asking for another fortuner I am asking for a vehicle in order for me to be mobile
how do I go about carrying out my work?
absolutely disappointed with the service from Toyota
