After placing an order with a supplier which included making immediate payment, for items I needed on Friday, the order was collected by Fastway couriers on Thursday morning before 11am. The supplier confirmed that the order was sent out and was expected to arrive on Friday. I spent most of Friday waiting for the order and ensured someone was available to collect. At around 5pm, several calls were made to Fastway to enquire on the delivery. Each time I was given the drivers number and was asked to follow up with him, however he was unreachable. The contact person at Fastway assured me that they would make delivery as they work until 8pm.
I have not received my parcel yet, and this has ensured that the plans I had for the weekend can not be completed and has resulted in a lot of time and money waisted.
So thank you Fastway, months of planning, time and money down the drain.
Tried to call again this morning, as I could still salvage some of the weekend if I receive my order today, but there call centre only operates until Friday.
