Deposit not paid back

Our booking was made for 16/02/16 - 18/02/18, reservation number 2437-4025-ZA-4. I returned the car, VW Polo Vivo, in time, undamaged and with a full tank of fuel. I was then assured I will receive my deposit back within 48-hours. It has now been ~136-hours (excluding weekends) since I was made this promise. I can clearly see from my online banking services, Avis still has that credit card transaction on hold, no reversal has happened.

I called Avis Wednesday, the first lady said "I don't understand you" and hang up. I called again... the second lady said "I have no idea what you am talking about, my money has been paid back". So, I called again... the third lady told me she does not know what is going on, I should send a mail.

These support centre agents were unfriendly and clearly not prepared to "support" my enquiry.

I have also sent several emails explaining the situation - have yet to receive any reply.
