2013/02/01 I bought a used 2002 BMW 525 from Pro West Car Sales. Amongst the paperwork that the salesman, Marten, had me sign was a 1000km/30 day USED CAR WARRANTY from his dealership.
2013/02/07 Within 5 working days and after doing 200km with the car I booked it in at franchise dealer for minor adjustments and got a quote of over R30000 for mechanical repairs needed.
2013/02/07 Within 5 working days after buying the car I gave written notice to Pro West of cancellation of the sale.Pro West however refused to take back the car and refused to pay for any repairs needed. I requested a formal written response from the dealer principal via email but received nothing.
