During December 2012, I made an agreement to sell my car (Volvo S40 T5 2007 model) to the above mentioned dealer for around R80 000 (eighty thousands) and buy Mazda Midge 2001 model. In mid Jan-2013, I paid the dealer R52 000, R37 000 in respect of the Madza and R15 000 in respect of topping up R80 000 asking price on my car so that they can clear my debt with my car financer as we agreed.
So far, I have already paid Jan-2013 instalment and it seems as if I will also be paying Feb-2013 as well as a result of the dealer failing to settle my debt. This matter is already affecting my affordability on my home loan that I am currently intending to buy. I have also been trying to call the dealer every now and again to settle my debt without any success.
