EnRoute Towing in Somerset West showed up at my accident scene in a tow truck. I was being attended by ambulance and fire-brigade with a nasty head-wound. The En Route towing driver puts a clipboard into my hands and after being assured it would not be expensive (I have no insurance) I signed it. He then connected my vehicle, and gave me a lift home with my dog. The ambulance wanted me to go with them but as it would mean being parted from my panicked German Sheperd I signed a waiver and enroute gave me a lift home.5 days later I went to collect my car at enroute's offices in Strand. This fat bald guy told me the bill was R10 000-00 this included R1000 admin fee R500 a day for storage and R500 for "security". I was dumbfounded and threatened to sue, to which this smelly fat guy smirked and said "ha you can maar go for it, we never lose a case ha ha"I ended up having to leave my beloved little Honda with them as I couldnt pay the R10000.00 I am not a rich man and cannot afford the shyster lawyers they use (in fact their usual lawyer could even be worse than they are) Its an absolute disgrace that this is allowed to continue. EnRoute is notoriously crooked its well known, and their is a mountain of testimonies, letters and witnesses that have lost huge amounts to these pirates. And if you look on the owners facebook page its just endless exotic holidaying, expensive whiskies, palatial homes, fleets of luxury cars, and crooked, shifty looking family members, even the women look like thugs
Please if anyone in power who believes in justice, truth and a better world please please please listen to a poor man who has little and now even less. Listen to my experience and for Gods sake lets stand up against these bully boys and make the world a better place...
