Total South Africa
Wrong Feul in motor vehicle and cutomer to pay

We ask petrol attend to put LRP petrol in on the 19/01/2014, and they have put in unleaded. Ask them what they are going to do and they said that they will sort it out. I ask them to phone the manager and they said they can't because he was away for the weekend. I ask them (Steven - the supervisor on duty and Hamilton - the petrol attendant who put the wrong fuel in) to take my details and they did not want to. I did say to them that I will sent a mail to the owner on Monday morning to advise them of the problem and he can sort it out for us. Needless to say I did not contact the owner, because I work for the same owner. Last night the Manager Rodney started to question my dad, k and he ask me to come and sort it out. I went to the petrol station and Rodney ask me who I am and I said to him who I was and he did not even ask what the situation was on Sunday. Whilst I was still talking to him he turned around and walk away and I pay for their petrol attendant's mistake. This did happen previously at the same service station and Rodney approved the replacement of the fuel.
Is it fair for a cutomer to pay for the service providers mistakes?
