I went to put petrol in my car, I asked the petrol attendant for R100 unleaded. The attendant was so busy chatting to his fellow worker that he put in R197.00 in my car. I stopped him and asked for the manager. Fist I was told that I will have to wait. Now what upsets me is that I could not even finish my sentence when he came to service me. I wanted my tires pumped and he had no interest in doing this (the Attendant) When the manager arrived he said that this happens all the time and I can either pay for this mistake or have my car drained. Now how do I know that they are not going to take more petrol out of my car and I do not have time to sit there and wait for them to drain the petrol out of my car. I understand that mistakes happen but, why is the attendant chatting to the other staff members and why should I have to pay for his negligence. I feel that the attendant should have paid for this mistake. You can go look on the cctv there it was on the 19 June between 13h50 and 14h08. I am very unhappy about this and it seems this tactic is used to up the amount of petrol the customers ask for. They are thus from us. I am going to launch a complaint at the consumers boar.
