Return my deposit and communicate properly

Well over a month ago I returned a car after it had been broken into and the radio damaged. At the time I was told the radio would be repaired, the invoice sent to me, the money would be deducted from my deposit and the balance returned to me.

I'm still waiting for the invoice and my money. Even worse, I have not received a single communication from First Car. They are completely mute. I called in last week to inform them that I was still waiting for my deposit to be returned and that I hadn't received a single communication since returning the car. The woman on the phone told me it was strange that I hadn't received any communication and when she checked my email address she noted that one of her colleagues had spelt gmail incorrectly "gmial".

She apologized, corrected the spelling and said she would follow-up with the department that handles the deposit refunds. After that call I still haven't received a phone call/sms/email and I'm still waiting for my deposit to be returned to me.

Who is going to cover the interest payments on my credit card?
