My mother bought a brand new Mercedes benz at culemborg cape town. After within 2 months the silver beading under the lead light on the drivers side became lose. She took it in, pictures were taken and she was told they cant really patch it, a new one will need to be ordered. A couple of weeks later she took it back in to be fixed. They refused to fix it because they say the car is dented. Yes the car is dented due to a minor accident on the passengers side. This has nothing to do the with the beading on the drivers side which was faulty from the begining. Why did they initially say they will fix it? Now they are looking for a way out and this is dishonest behavior and unprofessional. Why were pics taken and why did they say they will order the part. When the car was taken in initially, it had no dents and they could see that the part was faulty and now all of a sudden it wont be fixed. This is wrong and we don't expect such from a brand like Mercedes Benz.
