Received a quote and spoke to Mckelly at Action Ford and Mazda in Contstantia Kloof, Roodepoort who
told me that my vehicle's CV Joints and Clutch need to be service. Quote received telephonically for CV Joints - Shafts (inner and outer as mentioned to me) - R7412.00. Both Drive Shafts - R6037.00 (exc vat)
I took my vehicle to Supa quick as I received a more affordable quotation for my CV Joints - less that half quoted for at Action Ford and Mazda. The gentle man at this service station phoned me to asked me why I wanted to service my CV Joints. I have told him that Action Ford and Mazda told me that it needs to be service.
Big was my surprise when he informed me that there is nothing wrong with my CV Joints and that they are putting grease and oil only as the CV Joints is fine. How am I suppose to trust Action Ford again??
I also told James the foreman and Action Ford and Mazda that I have a leak in my car as the passengers side was getting water in - especially with the rain. When I got there they did not look for this leak as it was never mentioned to them. Now the car needs to go back. I also recevied a quote from them for the clutch, but decided not to trust them.
