On the 3/08/2013 my Mazda Drifters diff cracked and I took it to Action Ford on the 5/08/203. I was told my warranty had fallen away as I did not take the car for the 70 000 service. I said they should still give me a quote. I got a quote on the 08/08/2013. Samantha called and told me a NEW diff would cost R20690.81 and I thought if its a new diff, it would be okay. the next day my brother in law spoke to the mechanic Bossie and he also said we getting a new diff so we would get our old one back. my receptionists spoke to Samantha on the 08/08/2013 an was also told since we getting a NEW diff the bakkie would be ready on the 12/08/2013. when I went to collect the car and I had paid already the did not return my old diff as they now claimed that the diff was not new and remanufactured, this was not what I was told. if they had told me from the start that it was going to be remanufactured would have done it privately, which would have cost me R8000. On the invoice it was written as reman axle, and I thought that was the name of the part and not remanufactured axle. I feel that I was given incorrect information and was dubed into paying for something I did not want.
